Hi,i have a full subscription to microsoft office, i'm using the windows ten os.i recently did a system restore. Upon opening word, it will prompt me to login, i will login and it will show a display which says please wait while we login to your account, after a minute it will prompt me with the following error. Sorry, we ran into aproblem while trying to install the product key. If this keeps happening you should try repairing your office program.(error code:0x80004005)using the repair now option, does nothing.(i will provide a picture below as well)please help, i'm a college student, and would like to have my microsoft word restored as soon as possible.
Hi Gerrit,Are they getting the same prompt as illustrated in the article above?As explained in the link, this issue occurs if an OEM version of Office has been preinstalled on the system by the system manufacturer and has not been removed prior to installing the Volume License version of Office 2016. Is this the case for your environment?do repair, uninstall and reinstallHow exactly did you uninstall Office products from those problematic machines?

Keeps asking me to activate Office. Archived Forums. Says that the product is not activated. I keep going through the process - then get a product activated message. I then go back to the Office product that I am using, try again to download a template, and get all the same messages again.
